MM 508 20" AUTO PLANER

The MM 508 is designed for the larger workshop and is of heavy duty cast iron construction. Power choice of either 3 HP single phase or 5 HP three phase motor is available to drive this four knife cutter head  machine at 20,000 cuts per minute . A two speed oil bathed gear box allows feed rates of 5 metres or 6.3 metres per minute through the solid serrated steel in feed and out feed rollers keeping stock moving smoothly. The solid cast iron in feed and out feed tables extend the table to a total of 508mm x 652mm in length and table locks are provided for securing the table in a fixed position.

A Dust Hood is provided for connection to a dust extractor system and a trolley kit is mounted in the fully enclosed cabinet stand for easy moving if required. Anti kick back fingers are provided for the operators safety, over head rollers for stock return, a knife setting gauge and instruction manual are also provided.
