PT 260 PLANER / THICKNESSER
This Planer / Thicknesser is perfect for the DIY user who has a space problem with the two functions of Planning or Thicknessing available from the one machine. The main body and machine ground Planning Tables are constructed from a rigid aluminium casting and the cast aluminium fence is easily adjusted from 90 degrees to 45 degrees for bevelled planing.
The Thicknesser table adjustment is controlled from a turning handle that drives a hardened steel chain to each of the four threaded steel posts on each corner of the table. The 3 hp 2.2kw single phase motor drives 260mm x 53mm diameter 2 knife cutter head and a 100mm dust collection port is provided for connection to a dust collector system if required. Anti Kick back fingers and a safety switch are provided for the operators safety.
