SW-1401A Bandsaw

The new SW 1401A Bandsaw is an example of the continuing development of Taiwanese machinery. Powered by a ¾ hp induction motor mounted in the cast frame the bandsaw is driven through a non slip groove belt reducing vibration.

Standard features are a 100 mm dust extraction port, hinged cabinet doors, extended blade tensioner for easy adjustment and a high level on off safety switch.

The cast table tilts from 45 degrees to 10 degrees for bevel cuts and the blade is supported by an upper and lower blade guide system.

This 349mm wide by 152mm depth of cut bandsaw is mounted on a sturdy open leg stand and is ideal for the light to medium industry or home workshop
